Open Enrollment Helpful Tips and Reminders

  • Open Enrollment is April 22 – May 5, 2024. Elections made during this time will be effective July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025.
  • Benefit elections are made through Workday. Employees will have an Open Enrollment notification under “Awaiting Your Action”.
  • Review your medical, dental and vision coverage: Your current elections will carry over for FY25 (July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025) if you do not log in to Workday and make changes.
  • Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts – Active Enrollment: Elections for Medical Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (DCFSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) do not roll over automatically. If you participate in or wish to participate in these programs for FY25 (July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025) you must log in to Workday and make new elections.
  • To enroll a new dependent you are required to provide documentation before they can be added to your plans. Documentation to verify proof of relationship and eligibility for each new dependent you are adding should be uploaded to Workday. The documentation will be routed to the LGH Benefits team for review and approval. Once the dependent is approved, you will receive a To Do: Initiate a Change Benefit Event to complete the next step to add your dependent to your plans. Please refer to the Workday Reporting a Life Event – Add Dependent Quick Reference Guide for step by step instructions.
    • Note: The links below provide you with a documentation matrix and lists of acceptable documentation for dependents. The Spouse Eligibility Form must be completed if adding a spouse. All enrolled dependent(s) must be covered using the name listed on their Social Security Card.
