Annual Benefit Enrollment Helpful Tips and Reminders

  • The Annual Benefit Enrollment is May 15 – May 31, 2023. Elections made during this time will be effective July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024.
  • Benefit elections through Workday. Employees will have an Open Enrollment notification under “Awaiting Your Action”.
  • Review your medical, dental and vision coverage: Your current elections will carry over for FY24 (July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2024) if you do not log into Workday and make changes.
  • Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts – Active Enrollment: Elections for Medical Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (DCFSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) do not roll over automatically. If you participate in or wish to participate in these programs for FY24 (July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2024) you must log into Workday and make new elections.
  • If adding new dependent(s) currently not listed in Workday, to be enrolled in your benefit elections, they must be added and reviewed/approved by HR prior to completing the Open Enrollment Change action.
    • Note: Newly enrolled dependent(s) will not be eligible for coverage until their eligibility has been verified and documents accepted/approved in Workday. The link below provides you with a documentation matrix and lists of acceptable documentation. The Spouse Eligibility Form must be completed if adding a spouse. All enrolled dependent(s) must be covered using the name listed on their Social Security Card.
