MyHealthyLiving is the voluntary employee wellness program at Lancaster General Health. It is designed to inspire you to stay healthy and to assist you in reaching your health goals. MyHealthyLiving offers a variety of benefits and services to help you live your life to the fullest.
MyHealthyLiving provides free annual health screenings for one week of each month through the program year and an online WebMD Health Risk Assessment located at www.webmdhealth.com/lghealth. Your screening results can help you identify health risks so that you can take action before they become health problems.
The Employee Fitness Center, located at the Downtown Pavilion, is accessible 24/7 to employees with their LG Health employee badge. To get access to the Employee Fitness Center, please email George Cattell at George.Cattell@pennmedicine.upenn.edu to set up an orientation. A wide variety of fitness classes are also available employees for no cost including; boot camp, core classes, strength training and Zumba. Register for classes by going to StarNet > MyHealthyLiving > Fitness and clicking “Fitness Class Registration.”
All LG Health dining areas offer Fit-Friendly Foods, which meet healthy guidelines for calories, fat, and sodium. MyHealthyLiving also offers presentations and online learning modules about nutrition throughout the year. We also offer Weight Watchers @ Work sessions.
LG Health offers group support and one-on-one counseling for those interested in quitting nicotine. Nicotine replacement therapy is available as grant funding allows.
